This is the title page of the 5.5" x 8.45" leather bound 1845 "Deutsche Kanzel" that contains the 1849 Daniel Korn signature; this book was handed down in the Daniel Korns, Jr. family line. I have been told that "Kanzel" means "Pulpit" in English, and that this is a book of special sermons for the Reformed Church. Note the Corinthians Bible verse which is quoted. The King James version of this verse is "Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.".
